I have always wanted to be a hairdresser, so it was easy for me to choose this specialized trade. I want to know as much as I can about hairdressing. I really hope that, one day, I will be a hairdresser for celebrities, participate in hair shows, open my own salon, or be a hairdressing teacher to show how wonderful this job is.
I got involved in skills competitions through my school, only two months after the start of my training. My teachers often spoke to us about the different competitions, and I wanted to participate. After I met my wonderful coach, whom I love, I started to practice often to learn new techniques and continue to improve.
The person who inspired me the most is my mother, because she always encouraged me to do what I love. She knew that hairstyling was a good fit for me, because when I was much younger, she often saw me do my little sisters hair. All to say that my mother is my source of inspiration.
I believe thinking is an important skill during competitions because for each contest, I have to think and decide quickly what I will do because we have a limited time to accomplish the tasks.
