Sharon has been at Skills\/Comp\u00e9tences Canada (SCC) since 2013. She is part of the Business Development team as Manager of Partner Relations and takes care of suppliers and sponsors. She is responsible for making and sending their invoices, setting up their accounts in SCC\u2019s event system, making the sponsorship agreements and tracking deliverables to ensure they are actioned. Her most used Skills for Success in her role are Writing, Adaptability, Reading and Communication.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining SCC, Sharon worked as an event planner for festivals and corporate events for more than 12 years. She spent some of this time in the music industry \u2013 something she is passionate about.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I wasn\u2019t at Skills Canada, I would be a Hairstylist because I like making people look good.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n At the Skills Canada National Competition, Sharon enjoys watching the Baking and Welding competitions because she finds them cool. Sharon likes to relax at home and watch TV shows and movies in her free time.
