This year SCNC will take place in Regina, Saskatchewan, at the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) District, on May 29 and 30, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>SCNC is an annual event where over 500 students and apprentices across Canada including future chefs, welders, IT specialists, mechanics and many more will be going head-to-head to become national champions. The competition is all about showcasing skilled trades and technologies to help youth discover the many opportunities available to them in these fields. At SCNC, RBC will host a booth with an interactive Try-A-Trade\u00ae and Technology activity and will also give out the Best of Region Award at SCNC\u2019s Closing Ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSCC is grateful for RBC\u2019s continued support and their dedication to highlighting the importance of skilled trade and technology careers. SCNC helps inspire the next generation of skilled professionals as it highlights the incredible talents of young Canadians, while reinforcing the importance of industry support in building a great future for them,\u201d said Shaun Thorson, Chief Executive Officer at SCC.<\/p>\n<p>The RBC Best of Region Awards is a prestigious award which is given to the top scoring competitors as a testimony to their skills and knowledge.
