Biography
I chose a career in Mechanical Engineering CAD because it’s a constantly evolving field that helps to solve real-world problems and creates innovative projects that can improve people’s lives. I want to specialize in something I’m passionate about such as robotics, aeronautics or biomedical engineering.

Since I got involved in Skills competitions, I’ve trained hard to perfect my techniques. When I learned that I’d be participating in WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, I felt rewarded for all the time and effort I’ve invested. It’s a great responsibility to represent Canada, but also a powerful motivator to succeed! My biggest challenge in Shanghai will be maintaining a competitive spirit throughout the four-day competition. That said, I’m actually looking forward to experiencing the pressure and performing as best I can!

Interesting Fact
Since 2021, I’ve been a member of the Hyperion 3360 team in the FIRST Robotics Competition program in Sherbrooke. I’m involved in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of robots. I’ve learned many of my 3D drawing skills in this club.

Skills for Success
Adaptability is among the important skills that I’ve relied upon in competitions. I’ve had to make quick decisions, adjust to unexpected obstacles, and stay well organized to avoid wasting time. My digital skills also help me perform. By knowing my software inside and out, I’m able to complete tasks more quickly and manage my time more efficiently.
