Sharon Côté

Sharon has been at Skills/Compétences Canada (SCC) since 2013. She is part of the Business Development team as Manager of Partner Relations and takes care of suppliers and sponsors. She is responsible for making and sending their invoices, setting up their accounts in SCC’s event system, making the sponsorship agreements and tracking deliverables to ensure they are actioned. Her most used Skills for Success in her role are Writing, Adaptability, Reading and Communication.

Prior to joining SCC, Sharon worked as an event planner for festivals and corporate events for more than 12 years. She spent some of this time in the music industry – something she is passionate about.

At the Skills Canada National Competition, Sharon enjoys watching the Baking and Welding competitions because she finds them cool. Sharon likes to relax at home and watch TV shows and movies in her free time. She also has fun taking care of her cats Rocky, Missy, and Jinx.
