My Skills Background
I have competed in Plumbing and Heating in three provincial Skills competitions, two Skills Canada National Competitions, and at the WorldSkills Competition 2017, in Abu Dhabi.

I’m currently a business owner in Plumbing and Gasfitting, a trade that runs deep in my family—spanning three generations. My passion for this work comes not only from the skills it demands, but from the pride of carrying forward a family tradition built on craftsmanship, dedication, and service.

Training Champions
My approach to preparing a competitor for the WorldSkills Competition is built on honesty, dedication, and a commitment to giving them every possible tool for success. The WorldSkills Competition will be one of the most challenging—and rewarding—weeks of their life, and my goal is to help my competitor be the best version of themselves. I want them to enjoy every moment, take pride in their efforts, and walk away with unforgettable memories from this incredible experience. As a WorldSkills Team Canada Trainer, I also look forward to expanding my own knowledge by learning from world-class Competitors, Trainers, and Experts from around the globe.

Why I Love Volunteering
After experiencing the impact of Skills competitions firsthand, I felt inspired to give back by volunteering as a Trainer and supporting the next generation of talented tradespeople. Running my own business and mentoring multiple apprentices has given me both the flexibility and the passion to share my knowledge, guide young competitors, and help them reach their full potential.
