Biography

I chose a skilled trade as a career because I’ve always had a passion for mechanics and automobiles. My career goal is to open my own garage in the future.

I was approached by my teachers at school to take part in the skills competitions. The Skills Canada National Competition allowed me to push myself and to perform my tasks quicker at work.

My biggest inspiration is my trainer Marc, because he’s very skilled in mechanics and he works really hard. He inspires me to become better in my Skill Area.

Interesting Fact

I’m the only student who drove the racing Civic at a drag race in Sanair!

Skills for Success

Problem-Solving was the most important Skill for Success as part of my training and during the Skills Canada National Competition. Adaptability is the Skill for Success that I need to improve the most to compete at the WorldSkills Competition.
