Biography

I chose a skilled trade because I wanted something that was hands on. Aesthetics is all about connecting with others to make them feel good! I love consultations because that’s when we get to know our customers and understand their needs. My goal is to be happy and continue to be passionate about this profession.

I gave skills competitions a try, telling myself I had nothing to lose! The competitions are an experience of a lifetime. I’m so lucky to be learning from experienced teachers like Maryse and Annie. I felt an immense joy and pride when I found out I’d be competing at WorldSkills Lyon 2024. I’ve managed to get this far thanks to my coach, my teachers, my loved ones and my willpower. My biggest challenge will be to remain confident. I expect the competitors to be ready and to excel in their disciplines. I’ll be ready, too!

Interesting fact
I love traveling and discovering new things. This summer, I went to Europe with a friend and backpacked for three weeks. Discovering the world makes me grow and it’s very important for me to see how other people live!

Skills for Success
There are four skills that have been instrumental in my training and competing: communication, so that the customer feels at ease, listened to and has their needs understood; collaboration with the customer, so that their treatment is as perfect as possible for them; creativity and innovation during the make-up and nail tests; and adaptability to adapt to different situations such as allergies, discomfort, and different workstations.
