Business Development

Shelby joined Skills/Compétences Canada in 2026. She is the Business Development Coordinator, focused on procurement and logistics. She works with partners across Canada to secure tools, equipment, and materials for our events, and coordinates the shipping, inventory, and onsite logistics to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Shelby has a background in Early Childhood Education, along with certificates in Aboriginal Education and Worldviews (University of Toronto) and AI in Teaching and Learning (Ontario Tech University). Before joining SCC, she worked in education and nonprofit roles focused on outreach, partnerships, and program delivery across Canada.

If I weren’t at Skills Canada, would be a carpenter because I’ve always been drawn to hands-on work where you can see the end result. There’s something really satisfying about building something from the ground up and knowing it came together because of your work.

When she isn’t working, Shelby enjoys being active and outdoors, especially doing activities like dirt biking, golfing, and fishing. She is also a dog mom of two, so a lot of her free time is spent with them.
