Sue LeFort

Vice-President

Sue has volunteered for Skills/Compétences Canada for over twenty years, in a variety of roles including on the Board of Directors and as a member of the National Technical Committee. She has also volunteered for WorldSkills as Workshop Manager, Chief Expert and most recently she was appointed as a WorldSkills Advisor.

Sue is a proud tradesperson and has done her training as a welder and Red Seal machinist. She has 35 years of experience where she worked from the shop floor to senior management before transitioning from the private sector to the government where she works closely with industry.

“Skills Canada aligns with both my personal and professional interests, and allows me to continue to inform and engage youth through volunteering” said Sue.
