Biography
I’ve always had a passion for cars, but I also wanted a new and different puzzle to work on every day. That’s why I pursued Autobody Repair as a career. I love that each job I take on requires a different plan of attack using a different set of skills. I’d like to eventually open or manage my own collision repair shop.

I had never heard about Skills competitions until my boss explained their purpose to me. Once I got involved, I found the competition experience to be very enjoyable. I love being competitive at what I do! When I learned that I was selected to join Team Canada and compete at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, I felt fulfilled. I’ve worked extremely hard over the last few years to achieve this goal. My biggest challenge in Shanghai will be competing in a different part of the world, maintaining my focus on my project and ignoring all distractions.

Interesting Fact
My favourite hobby is wrenching on anything that can go fast and has a motor!

Skills for Success
Problem Solving is particularly important in my trade because you’re bound to make mistakes. But it doesn’t matter if your errors are large or small. It’s how you react to and deal with setbacks that will determine whether you succeed or not.
