Biography
I’ve always been drawn to the skilled trades, inspired by my uncle who worked in the field. What excites me most about CNC Machining is how the trade is constantly evolving. It keeps me curious, challenged, and eager to keep learning more every day.

I first learned about Skills competitions through my teacher at school and decided to give it a try. Once I got involved, I quickly realized how exciting and rewarding these competitions are. When I found out I would be competing at the 48th WorldSkills Competition, in Shanghai, China, as part of WorldSkills Team Canada 2026, I was absolutely thrilled. My biggest challenge will likely be managing my concentration under pressure, but I’m ready to face it head-on. What I’m most looking forward to is the incredible experience: competing at the highest level, meeting people from around the world, and exploring a place I’ve never been to before.

Interesting Fact
I love creating in 3D because it gives me the chance to bring ideas to life by turning concepts into tangible designs and watching them take shape from every angle.

Skills for Success
The most important Skill for Success in my trade is creativity and innovation. This skill allows me to approach challenges from new angles, discover faster and more efficient ways to complete a project, and still stay true to the plan.
