Biography
I chose a career in technology because I want the freedom to think creatively, solve problems, and develop strategies that make an impact. The power of design is that it shapes the way people experience the world around them. So, in my career, I want to contribute to projects that have real significance and develop skills that enable me to design with purpose.

I got involved in Skills competitions through my graphic communications program. Competing pushed me to start taking creative risks and challenged me to step out of my comfort zone. When I found out I would be competing at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, it reminded me how much work is still ahead. I believe my biggest challenge in Shanghai will be managing the pressure and staying focused on my own process. I want to do my best and see how I grow through the experience.

Interesting Fact
I love being in nature. Whether it’s kayaking, hiking, or sitting around a campfire, I always look for quiet places to recharge. I also enjoy photography.

Skills for Success
Adaptability has been a key skill in my training. In Graphic Design Technology, you need to be able to shift your approach to fit different target audiences and client goals. Staying flexible helps me design in a way that’s effective. You don’t always get to control what happens, but when you do, you need to step into the opportunity.
