Lionel has been with Skills/Compétences Canada (SCC) since 2025. As Accounting Manager, he is tasked with managing the full-cycle accounting activities for SCC.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics (in International Business) from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China, and is currently pursuing his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification from the United Kingdom. Before joining SCC, Lionel worked as an auditor for Deloitte and an accountant in a variety of industries in East Africa over 10 years.
“If I weren’t at SCC, I would work in Aerospace Technology because I have always been fascinated by that industry.”
When Lionel isn’t working, you can find him spending time with family and friends, reading, and watching tennis.
