Biography
I’ve always had a passion for working on mechanical equipment and vehicles. Ever since I was old enough to ride a dirt bike, I’ve been hooked. What excites me most about this industry is how it’s constantly evolving, with new innovations making equipment more powerful and effective. My dream is to one day own my own shop.

I first discovered the Skills competitions through one of my instructors, who encouraged me to give it a try. Competing has been both stressful and exhilarating, but also an incredible experience.

When I found out I’d be competing at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, I was in complete disbelief. I never imagined I’d make it beyond the provincial level, and now I get to represent Canada on the world stage. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity. I know my biggest challenge will be managing my time and performing under intense pressure, but I’m ready to take it on. More than anything, I’m excited to meet competitors from around the globe and experience the city of Shanghai.

Interesting Fact
I’ve been playing the cello for 16 years, and when I’m not making music, you’ll usually find me on the golf course or under the hood of a classic vehicle. Out of everything I enjoy, my truck is hands down my favourite thing in the world.

Skills for Success
Reading, problem-solving, and adaptability have been essential throughout my Skills journey. They’ve allowed me to quickly learn, adjust, and gain a deeper understanding of the equipment I may encounter in Shanghai.
