“If I weren’t at Skills Canada, I would be a graphic designer because i like working in a creative environment with others.”
Thanks to her natural talent for drawing, Marie-Eve would be a great graphic designer. Her love for this skill grew even more when she learned that her great-grandfather was a graphic designer and used to draw, by hand, the lettering on the side of trucks!
Marie-Eve has the most fun watching the bricklaying and cabinetmaking Skill Areas at the Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC). Sheadmires the mix of art, attention to detail and precision required during the competition to pull off such skills. She loves working with youth most and seeing the positive impact that competing has on them and their careers. Marie-Eve also cherishes the Skills community and is impressed by all the work done by volunteers every year.
