“If I weren’t at Skills Canada, I would be an automotive mechanic because I love the idea of being able to fix my own car.”

At the Skills Canada National Competition, Marisa enjoys watching Landscape Gardening because it gives her inspiration for her garden in the summer and Cabinetmaking because it reminds her of her grandfather who was a cabinetmaker as well. Shes is currently completing a Doctorate in Education with a specialisation in Diversity and Inclusion and Social Justice at Western University of Ontario. Marisa enjoys playing futsal and running. She also loves listening and dancing to Latin music.
